I guess you have the Gold Stud on Magus? Mine is on Crono, but that's because I pumped everyMagic Capsule I could find into him, and use him to spam Luminaire. Not having a triple tech kinda sucks... |

I can't quite remember, but I alternated between two accessories on Magus. The gold stud and something else...probably something that helped him with melee attacks. A triple tech would have been nice, but Magus was good at handling the "hit em all" attacks. |

Tell me what you can about Chrono Cross. Why is it not very good? Also, how are the extras in the DS version of Chrono Trigger? |

DS Chrono Trigger adds a whole new, quite extensive sidequest called The Lost Sanctum. It also adds all of the video cutscenes from the PSX version as well as a brand new cutscene, to go with the brand new ending. And a couple of "extras" features, like a sound test, etc. I dunno about Chrono Cross, except that Cop apparently doesn't approve. :/ |

It's not just me. Chrono Cross, as a sequel, barely ties in with Chrono Trigger. There are a few cameos and allusions to Chrono Trigger, but that's it. The plot is pretty convoluted (you should look it up so as to avoid spoilers). The battle system, while new, wasn't very good (field effects and such). There are a needless amount of playable characters (over 30, I think). Only a handful of them are any good. Only a few of them (single digit number) have team techs. And only a few of those techs are worth using. I watched an entire let's play of it. It was interesting enough to watch all the way through, but I wouldn't play it myself. Music was great though. Borrowed and ripped the OST from a friend. |

Marowak, I already knew there were a few extra dungeons. My intention was more to ask if they were good or not. From that description, CopShowGuy, Chrono Cross does sound pretty lacking. It's probably a shame. |

Ninja, I don't really know if they're worth getting the game for. And the Lost Sanctum quest is kind of ludicrous. I mean, the end of it is really cool, but up until then it's just a sort of glorified, time-hopping fetch quest. |

Lost Sanctum is a lot of back tracking. The DS version also has monster training, which I never actually did much of. |
