Amazing gameplay, amazing story, and timeless sprite art. So I was just wondering if anybody else had played it.

The only endings I have gotten are the ones for defeating the final boss at the end of the final dungeon, and for losing to the final boss. I should change that sometime.

The Night Posts: 4,755 Group: Shadow Sage Member #17 Joined: Jun 8, 2008 Premium No	You just NOW started playing? Welcome aboard. That game is awesome. I never played much of the SNES version, but I beat the DS version 100% (** level on all characters, best weapons, best equipment, all endings) multiple times over. The sequel, Chrono Cross, isn't very good, however. But it has great music.

It did make me smile when Dalton broke the fourth wall by commenting on the choice of background music when he stole the Epoch. out of curiosity, what was your favorite character set? I've been using Crono, Marle, and Frog pretty consistently.

I should mention that those three are beastly at ** level. Ayla alone does about 700 base damage with a high chance to do 9999 damage. In earlier play throughs, I would use Marle.

With both Chrono and Ayla having a high percentage to both counter attack and crit while attacking and counter attacking (Ayla doing 9999 damage on crits), they deal out heavy damage on their own. Magus is there for the zotting of foes that are weaker to magic. Chrono and Ayla have their Falcon Strike dual tech which hurts a good deal.
