Hero of Thyme

I don't remember all the details, but one night 56 nights ago at four minutes past midnight, while I was driving my car home at night from work on a dreary night, and it was night, the surrounding darkness of night pervaded the soul with nighttime darkness. In the dark it was very hard to see--it was night at the time--and because of the darkness of the night surrounding me, there was a smothering lack of visibility. This made it difficult to look ahead very far into the enveloping absence of light, subtracting from visual clarity. A smothering reduction of my ability to see was created by the darkness extant in the nighttime environment. Only my car's headlights were there to pierce through the staggering shroud of darkness that reached out at me from the night. I was weary with exhaustion that night when I drove by the local graveyard on my way home from work one night, near midnight about two months ago on my way home from work, while coming home from a long day at the place in which I work. It was night time, and I couldn't see very well due to the darkness, except for the headlights on my car (which I was driving home from work with), but I managed to see into the graveyard several yards through the black void of night with the headlights from my car. Several meters into the dark and foreboding graveyard, I beheld a dark form as dark as the darkness of night coming into formation in my direct sight in the lack of light that stagnant night. Don't forget it was night time, remember. The color black was very prominent in this dark figure I beheld, and a beholding of a dark figure of the color black was carried out by my eyes, struggling to see in the permeating darkness challenged only by the headlights of the car I was presently driving home from work. In a fraction of a second, the ominous and black form being beheld in my sight immediately disappeared right away, leaving in its sudden absence only a stark and grim darkness as dark as the darkness it comprised, almost as though the ominous figure consisted of darkness itself in the nighttime. It was a very unique darkness encompassing my poorly lit surroundings due to the lack of light, and as the old, aged, timely, sentimental saying goes, "Darkness is as dark as darkness is dark, but fear not the dark for the darkness of the dark is only as dark as the dark of darkness contained in the darkness of the subconscious." In the volatile darkness of the night hour, the only clear thought being thought in my mind was the acknowledgment of the noticing of the powerfully dark realization that the aged, timely, whimsical saying, "Darkness is as dark as darkness is dark, but fear not the dark for the darkness of the dark is only truly as dark as the dark of darkness contained in the darkness of the subconscious," was indeed becoming a dark and grim reality that night, now roughly 8 weeks prior to this recording of that distant night. When I got home later that night of two months prequel to this documentation of that now two-months distant night, I promptly decided to move to Anchorage, Alaska to get away from the supernatural. So was it dark when you saw this figure? And from where were you driving at four minutes past midnight? This story doesn't add up! |

I noticed and realized that the first original post, found at the top of this page of the topic I am posting in, was lacking in conceptual clarity such that the first post--made by me--was difficult to understand with cognitive comprehension. This lack of ease of understanding of the meaning of the contents of my original post of the 15th day of the month of January has since led me to alter the linguistic composition found in the uppermost section of the current thread so that the original post may be better understood, for I noticed the contents were difficult and hard to understand comprehensively. I do not wish to be thanked, for a thanking is not what I wish for in this instance and a thanking is not my behest, so do not thank me as I request not to be thanked. EDIT: Fixed typo. ALTERATION: Corrected a spelling error. AMENDMENT: Addressment of linguistic shortcoming. ACTION TAKEN TO MAKE POST CONTENT DIFFERENT: Replacement of a literary mechanical falsehood with an ameliorated instance of the affected content. Edited by Sedaheht, Jan 16 2011, 04:39 PM.
