 It really pisses me off when people say Zelda sucks because Nintendo uses the same characters, or that Nintendo sucks because they use the same franchises. So, are they saying that if Nintendo made the exact same game, but copy pasted some different faces on to the characters, it would be awesome? I mean, it really pisses me off. Their arguments don't even make sense in the first place, because the games are incredible. That isn't just opinion either, ratings are unanimously high, and Ocarina of Time is considered the best game ever created. :argh:

 Those people are idiots that fail to realize that making an entirely new series that's popular isn't as easy as waving your hand. Of course they're going to use the same characters - they work. Always have and probably always will. They just like to complain about things.

 I like being Link. He's one of my favourite protagonists to control in any video game. Other people are really stupid, and they only hate on Zelda games because they probably haven't ever even played one.

By SOME people. The thing is, that is a matter of opinion, and there can never be a best game ever unless everybody would agree on it, which is pretty much impossible. The "unanimously high ratings" just mean that a lot of people enjoy the games, it STILL doesn't mean everybody will. The reasons you're saying those people don't like the games, I agree, are pretty damn moronic. Getting mad because some people don't share your view, however, is not very smart either.

I know, I'm just saying, to be considered by most people to be the best game ever created, it has to be pretty good.

Yes, I know it's stupid to get mad, but they bash the game, and chances are they've never played it! I don't get mad because people don't share my opinion, but when people flame mine, it tends to piss me off.

Besides, aren't the really constants in Zelda games Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf/Vaait? I fail to see where Zelda would benefit from dropping any of those characters <_<

Eh, there will always be people who complain about something. Even I had a rant about Nintendo's E3 press conference.
