 Do you use the default name in games or use a custom name?

I almost always use the default name.

 The only game I can remember playing where the name option offers a default is any Zelda game. I usually use my own name the first time, then Link in any subsequent play-throughs

 Most of the time. I do it the least in Pokemon, where 2/3s of the time I go with my own name and friends' names.

This except the other way around. Link the first time and then whatever in other playthroughs.
In Pokemon games, I never use the default name.

This. If it's a Zelda game I always use 'Link'. I usually use 'Sam' in other games such as Pokemon.

 I always use the default names. As a writer I think it insults the characters to give them a different name.
