I want to know what you think about this bill.

Basically what it says is:
If cops think you are a Mexican illegal, they will forcefully make that person confirm whether or not you are one.
They will stop any dark skinned person of the streets and interrogate them.
Even kids, I've read.
Anyone, any where.

 Isn't that racial profiling? I really don't think that's allowed, so I do not see how this bill can be a law.

 Just read this. I'd like to say it's surprising and startling and outrageous, but I'm desensitized to it at this point. This is really, sadly, nothing too far out of the ordinary in terms of going-ons.

 It's a wrong step in the right direction. Illegal immigration needs to be stopped, and illegals need to be removed from the country. Period. But racially profiling random people on the street is inefficient and stupid. What we need is a stronger border guard, a stricter patrol, and more severe punishments for those trying to get across illegally. Right now, if you're caught crossing the boarder illegally, all you get is a slap on the wrist. Next time, a slap on the wrist. The time after that? A slap on the wrist. Yeah, that's not working. Hell, at this point, shoot on sight orders might not be that bad with non-lethal rounds. We need to deal with the illegals getting in, first, then we can deal with getting them out.

Racial profiling is very much a law, and is a very effective tool.

I think the program will possibly create jobs, but otherwise might be a waste of Arizona taxes. Who knows. I've never met an illegal Mexican in my life, living in the heartland.
