 Welcome to the Chamber of the Sages! Introduce yourself here. We are still a small site, but make yourself cozy. You will be welcome by all our members...

A few things you should know about the place:


  • Try not to go off topic in forums.
  • A chatbox is located under the banner.
  • Don't ask to be a Sage. Seriously.
  • Exchange FC's and such in the Kakariko village forum
  • Good grammar and spelling, while not required, is suggested here. It will make people like you more :P
  • Check out our affiliated sites if you get the chance.
  • Post alot. You will gain more privileges as your post count gets higher, and you help keep the forum active.
  • Spam forum posts do not count.
  • Check for announcements often.
  • Saturday Night Chats are at 8PM (EST) 5PM (PST). Chat with members there.
  • If you bring more active members here, good things will happen... :)

 Here are a couple more tips for new members:

I just signed up and nobody likes me... Time to leave the site!
If you want to get to know people more, you have to work for it. You can't just register and expect to be the most popular member on the forum. Here are a few tips to get you started:

- In your introduction post, tell us your interests, give us your MSN (we all use MSN around here!) and if you feel comfortable, give us a general idea of where you live (AKA your home country, etc.). People who are more open generally get a more friendly welcome.

- VISIT THE CHATBOX. I don't get why people avoid it. This is the absolute best way to get to know people! There is usually always at least a couple people there (Except for late at night/early mornings). Stop in for an hour or so and get to know people. Don't be shy, we don't bite...

- Have your own site you want to advertise? That's jolly. But don't be surprised if everyone ignores/gets angry at you when you post it. You'll want to get to know people before you start advertising personal sites around here. Also, don't forget to ask a Sage before you advertise sites.

We are always looking for affiliates too, so if you are kind and not rude, we'll always consider adding any site as an affiliate (so long as it doesn't break the rules)

- If you like or want to try and RP, join our CotS Exclusive RPG The End, The Beginning, by Lotus. While everyone might not be rushing to meet you as soon as you begin, try and team up with some other people.

- Ask for a MEMBER FORUM! Anyone can have one, it's free, and you don't need to do anything but ask for one. This is a great way to give everyone a little more insight on you.

We want all our new members to feel warm and welcome here. All it takes is a little work on your part and you can become a happy member of this community. Give it a try!

You can address all suggestions, compliments, complaints etc. to me, Waterfox. Just click my username, and click PM to send me a private message only you and I can read.
