Do you read the instruction booklets that come with your games? I do half of the time.

Dies first.

I usually don't, but every once in a while I will. If I'm bored, sometimes they're an interesting read.

I skim them to see if there's any story related extras as in quite a few Ubisoft games.

I read/skim them all the way through before playing.

I usually read all of them shortly after I get the game. Usually while someone else is playing it or I'm just killing a few minutes.

I almost always read the instruction booklet before playing a game. It's good to get to know the controls inside-out and learn the basics about that particular game before starting.

I know I'm supposed to say something witty and hilarious here so: Something Witty and Hilarious!
I read them usally when on my way back home from the game store. And sometimes I read them at home while my dad has shoved me out of the way and started playing it himself. XD

Usually I'll look through them mostly for the art.

You monster.
I do it all the time, especially for the more complicated games if I don't get it in the tutorial. (Final Fantasy 13)

This. The art and general design of the booklet. Most of the material in an instructional booklet is repetitive stuff you can find in any of them anyway.

I guess I should mention this is the main reason I read through the books. I never memorize the information in them. I'll pick that up during play.

1st choice. If not soon after I get a game, eventually, I'll read the manual. I can't think of one game I own I haven't read the manual for.
