1. I much prefer my mother's maiden name to my actual last name. 2. That would be McLenighan. 3. Pronounced "Mick-Len-ig-hen" 4. My friends call me Mike, my real friends call me Michael. 5. Honestly, my preferred nickname is Mick, but nobody calls me that except for my uncles. 6. I have an intense interest in genealogy 7. I get along with my parents quite well. 8. I enjoy school and learning in general. 9. I have self taught myself a lot of information via Wikipedia. Mainly history. 10. History is my favorite subject because it's basically being told the highlights of recorded time and what shaped the world. 11. I suppose that goes hand in hand with my love of genealogy. 12. My view on gay-marriage is firmly apathetic. 13. My view on abortion is firmly pro-life. 14. My view on the economy is that it's a tilting scale. When the economy is up, we need a conservative, when it's down, we need a liberal. 15. I'm very interested in energy, as my mom works as the corporate librarian for a natural gas company. 16. I don't get why we don't just call natural gas methane or Carbon Tetrahydride. 17. Yes, I like Chemistry. 18. I'm a great public speaker. 19. I want to be an English major. 20. I don't read many books, mainly because if I read a book as often as I'd like to, I'd have read every book in existence by now. 21. I finish books in one sitting, mostly. 22. There are about 5000 books in my house. Probably more. 23. Some of them have gone down through generations. 24. Quite a few of them are written by family members. 25. I went to a tail-gate party with the late Tim Russert, my favorite TV journalist. 26. Lotus saying I'm a good writer makes me happier than I can explain in words. 27. I'm glad swim team is over. 28. Yet, I can't wait for it to start again. 29. Our varsity team were state champs this year. 30. I am not varsity. 31. I am on three different swim teams. 32. I used to run cross-country, but I always got burnout later on in the races. I also got lost once. 33. I really don't like my brothers. 34. I consider my life boring. 35. My favorite movie is There Will Be Blood 36. My favorite book is The Catcher in the Rye 37. My favorite TV show is Law and Order 38. My favorite Video Games is Jak II 39. My favorite Video Game Developer is Naughty Dog 40. My favorite food is Bouf Strogonof 41. My favorite TV channel is C-SPAN 42. My favorite country is Ireland. 43. My favorite anime is .hack//Roots 44. I don't like anime that much. 45. I greatly admire J.R.R. Tolkien though I've only read the Hobbit and pieces of the Silmarillion. 46. If I could have a super power, I would want cryptology (the ability to speak all languages aka the gift of tongues). 47. Though I like Tolkien, I wish everyone else would get their own damn ideas and stop using Ye Olde Humanes+Fat Scottish Dwarves+Glowing, beautiful elves. 48. Hence why the fantasy I'm creating is basically Roman Mythology in the Future. 49. I do like Mythology as well. Mainly Irish. 50. I believe in the Aoi Si, better known as faeries. Not those tinkerbell pixie-shits, I'm talking about the ones that you scream at you and then eat your soul. 51. Chulainn was loosely based off of Cu Chulainn, who's basically Irish Hercules. 52. Durin is not based off of anything, however I intend to have him follow Joseph Campbell's classic hero cycle. 53. Durin is a name I've used for three role-play characters. The first was a man who stalked the woman of his dreams and killed her enemies with a bow and arrow. The second was an angel attempting to make everyone into automatons. The third is of course, my character on here. 54. The angel was rather boring and I gave up on that RP quickly. 55. I write a lot. 56. Poetry annoys me, because it seems as of lately, it's just a system of putting vague adjectives together and making nonsensical metaphors. 57. To expand on 48, yes I am making a fantasy series, I have several short stories written for it as well as indexes. I've even rewritten the periodic table of elements for the series. 58. Math is becoming my favorite subject, but I've never been very good at it. 59. I'm a lover not a fighter. 60. I detest the rule "you can't hit girls" because it basically says, "you can hit 50% of the population" whereas it should be "you cannot hit 100% of the population." 61. I'm Catholic 62. I'm also an Anglophile, surprisingly. 63. Recently, I've been teaching myself about the Napoleonic wars via Wikipedia. 64. I really like the movie Zulu 65. I might go watch Up! later. 66. I someday plan on making a video game musical. 67. I do enjoy the occasional musical, yes. 68. I am fifteen and have not even taken Driver's Education yet. 69. Next year I will be in five honors classes. 70. The only classes that are nonhonors are gym and math. 71. I write the day before the month, Americans look at me funny. 72. I sometimes write my dates in December instead of the current month because of the accounting simulation I'm currently doing for accounting class. 73. I like accounting class, but don't like my teacher. 74. She doesn't like me either. 75. I have six people in my immediate family 76. My brother David is bulimic, bi-polar, an alcoholic and a chain smoker. He steals any money he can get his hands on. 77. I've had about 2000-2500 dollars stolen from me in the past three years. 78. I have fourteen dollars to my name now. 79. Life kind of sucks in that regard. 80. I need a job, but see 68 for why I can't get one. 81. My favorite teacher ever was my Chemisty Teacher last semester. 82. He was one of the few people to actually get my jokes. 83. I bet he was a /b/tard. 84. My favorite historical figure is Frederick II the Great Grand Elector of Bradenburg and King in Prussia. 85. He was badass, and had war hounds. 86. WAR HOUNDS. 87. I find that the more people complain, the less their life sucks. 88. I believe that human beings suck ass. 89. Thank God I'm not like them. 90. I'm a self serving extrovert, but truly am an introvert. 91. Life is a disease. 92. Someone signed me up for Lacrosse. 93. I thought it might be interesting, then I found out it was contact. 94. I'm not good with contact. 95. Though, I've never broken a bone. 96. I used to tell people that I broke my nose backflipping off a trampoline to sound badass. 97. I got special honors from my fifth grade teacher for writing a paper about breaking my nose. 98. I accepted, but felt bad about it. 99. I kind of want to keep writing this list. 100. But I'll stop. Although we disagree on a few things (notably gay marriage and abortion), this is a great list and I thoroughly enjoyed it. By the way,
