Going Down To 6 Sages

 This idea has been sprung up on us.

Now, The Chamber of the Sages has always been an 8-Staffed site. Every elements including the two have been included from Wind Waker.
But do we really need 8 is the question? The idea of going down to 6 Sages could possibly be a benefit. At this point in time, 1 person would definitely be cut from power. We could also cut 2 people from power, and then elect who ever wins this upcoming Sage election into the 6th position.

Currently, this is how the idea is going:

- CopShow, Bomber, Acolyte, Lotus and Moiself would keep a position as a Sage
- Lotus and Stixx/Neko/New Person would be Mods
- Either Stixx or Neko would be cut, or both would be cut and then a new person would be elected in.

Now, why Neko and Stixx? No offense to both of them (they are both cool people!) but they both have not contributed anything to the site at all that any other member could pull off. Therefore the idea would be to demote one of them.

I've always personally felt this, but I thought 8 Sages was way more than enough power. Heck, 6 still is more than enough considering the size of the site. But we'll keep tradition of have at least 6 Sages. We are "Chamber of the Sages" after all.

Anyways, let's hear what you all think. What should we do?

 We also thought about keeping it a 4-2 (4 admin, 2 Mod). Sounds like this is the best approach, so no Admin gets demoted for the sake of reorganization.

 And the awesome Wind and Earth Medallions?
I really don't mind. The original idea for this thing (way back on GameFAQs) was to keep it the OoT sages only. The idea of being a sage was so popular, we added the WW sages too.
GET AGAINST THE TREE!!!

 We'll keep the relics of the Earth and Wind Sages, like the Pips and emoticons, but from here on, it seems to be only a memory and no one will hold the title of Sage of Wind or Sage of Earth.

 For CotS, keeping it at 6 is a good idea.

So, Neko will lose his spot. And Stixx will gain a position as a Moderator and Fire Sage.
We'll get this all figured out in a couple days. Thanks for the cooperation everybody!
