me and my awesome PS skills are here to give you things. well not this second its like 2 am. MY ACTIVITY ON THIS SITE SHALL RISE AGAIN --- I don't know what this post means. PS = Photoshop. I've seen some of his works and they are very good. So maybe one day I may take up his offer... And I shouldn't need to explain the rest? Why did you give me a special thanks? I've done nothing. So modest, Aco  You've been a great Sage, you have empathy for other people, especially those who are troubled (even though you do get slightly violent about it sometimes, I don't like the leaving threats you do when you are troubled... but you care deeply and that's what matters). You are also quite a fun person to talk to, when around. I would say that the way things are going now we should be able to at least reach the post goal. I think we'll be able to reach the post goal, not sure about the member goal, though. Thanks to the RP and all, I can see the 20,000 post mark being reached. I actually thought it'd be easier to get 11 more members than 4,500~ or so posts, but then again, we never advertise (mainly because it never works, lol) and we do generally manage, about a 1,000 posts every 2 weeks? (We actually should have about 18,000 or so right now, but 2,500 of those posts were daily poll posts and they get deleted everytime we hit 100 polls in the forum). Regardless, while the post goal is in reach, I'd still like to try and get at least a few more members before year's end. It would be quite the milestone for us if we hit 100. On the topic of spam: please, please make a subforum or something. I hate posting nonsense and knowing that it's unfairly contributing to my overall count. It shouldn't, plain and simple. None of those silly erotic topics or anything similar should go towards anything other than mindless fun. I'll consider making a subforum in Castle Market. But, the main reason I don't really want to is that some of the attention would be mostly on the spam forum, while none of the posts in the regular forum (which are more serious) would have any attention paid towards. Also, some topics do quickly turn spammy and off topic occasionally, and I really don't want to move those into the spam forum. But yes, if a spam forum is made, you can bet that Erotic Explorations, Luscious Loveture and Strip Club will be the first topics to go in there. If you have concerns or questions, feel free to ask! This is what the topic is mainly for, anyways. |

Well, I don't see how having a specific area for spammy topics will increase the likelihood that posts will be made there. They've declined in popularity for the most part and I just can't picture how this would have a positive effect on it. It's just relocation. |

In other words, are you supposing that some of the spammier (and by that, I mean mindlessly fun) Member forums should go to the spam forum? After all, Zeta does allow sub-sub-forums. (see a few of HS's forums. (Shadow Temple is an example, as is the Western Great Sea Temples.) Then again, you could always make the ones that are active, but prone to "mindless fun" not count post counts. Sorry, if that sounded a bit offensive, but isn't the main thing of SuperQ's member forum the Strip Club? All the other threads there don't seem half as active. Also, 4500 posts is easier than 11 members imo, unless you either got a name that people are surely going to look up (see TS4.net and KHI) or are based off an online game (see iAMGaming, aka the UT3/ PSN forum). Also, I've tried getting members of TEH, ZL, and The Recz to join, but to no avail. Most of the ZL members have another forum already, but still visit the place every now and then. Hea linked me to her main place (another LoZ-based forum) and I saved, just in case, so if you want me to post or PM the link, please ask. Hmm.. I never did ask anyone over at TNR, but I doubt Sven would care (He's also a bit of an arse btw..) and besides him, most of them are on at irregular intervals. |

Sub Sub Forums would be a bad, bad BAD idea. Subforums barely get notice here, let alone a sub sub forum. I prefer first page topics to be seen only 2 clicks away. I guess we could give the spam forum a try. But if it becomes the main center for the Castle Market forum then it's gone and Castle Market is going to be a No-Post-Count zone. I'm not against spam, but there is a difference between having a couple spam topics here and there to having 3-4 of them with 400+ posts. If we have both a spam and a regular discussion forum, I'd want them both to be used equally. |
