Grab your mouse, keyboard, internet and brain, because it's time for another CotS treasure hunt!!! (Not sure what else to call it) If you've participated in the previous hunts, you'll have a general idea how it goes. Starting on Monday, I'll post 2 questions a day until Friday. Your job is to find the answer to these questions. Note that the questions can be about ANYTHING: Video Games, Movies, Music, etc. I will guarantee there will be 2 Zelda Related questions, however. You may know the answer right off the top of your head, but if you don't, don't worry. Look around GameFaqs, Google, Yahoo etc, because you are allowed! Once you have the answer, store it away in Word, Notepad, on paper, whatever. Because, once the treasure hunt is over, you will PM me your answers. For every couple answers you get correct, you'll get an award added to your profile. Here is the general award layout: PARTICIPANT: Answer 1 question correctly to get this award. BRONZE: Answer 2-4 questions correctly to get this award. SILVER: Answer 5-6 questions correctly to get this award. GOLD: Answer 7-9 questions correctly to get this award. PLATINUM: Answer all 10 questions correctly for a platinum award added to your profile! Date Layout: Sept. 28: First day of CotS Treasure Hunt III, Question Theme: Zelda Sept. 29: Question Theme: Miscellaneous Video Games Sept. 30: Question Theme: Find the Objects in the provided image Oct. 1: Question Theme: Movies and Books Oct. 2: Question Theme: Anything Oct. 2-Oct.9: Collect your answers and PM them to me to claim an award. You have a week to do so. PM's after Before Oct. 2 and after Oct. 9 will be void Oct 10: Answers will be revealed in this topic. Final Day of Treasure Hunt, Awards will be given out. Award Images:      Personal Note: Stop adding Drop Shadow to awards. It makes them have that horrible... side thing on the side. A star was added to the Platinum to distinguish it from Silver, since I am too lazy to try and make it look Platinumish. It is slightly lighter though. I hope some people put in the effort to get at least get Gold, I spent about an hour trying to get them to look nice  General Rules: 1) Anyone can join in, at any time. No signups required, just play! 2) Work on your own. You may discuss the questions with other members, however, you may not provide help, give away the answer or form teams. People who aren't participating cannot help people who are playing. If you are caught doing these, you and any accomplices won't get an award at the end. 3) Once you send in your list of answers, you are finalizing it. You cannot send in anymore answers to questions you left blank, and you cannot change your answers after you send your list in. That should be it. I hope this one is more successful than our previous 2... (The first treasure hunt was impossible, and not too many people joined in the second one). Questions and comments are welcome at any time. |

They did something like this at Nsider, only more complicated and confusing. I won the first three times in a row. However none of those involved trivia so I perhaps won't do as well on this. |

Alright, the first 2 questions for the treasure hunt. We'll start off with some easy Zelda questions to warm the brain up. In fact, I think this treasure hunt might be quite easy... of course, if anyone else says that you know what'll happen; the questions will be jacked up to nigh-impossible. Nah... the questions will be easy, sans maybe 2 or 3. Really depends how determined you are. So, here we go. Remember not to blurt out answers, keep em' to yourself! 1) The Sages in OoT were named after towns from Zelda 2. However, there were two towns in Zelda 2 that did not share their name with a Sage. What were the names of these towns? --- 2) In Twilight Princess, how many floors did the Temple of Time have? And what item did you find on the top floor? |

Alright, for today's stuff, I'm providing you all an image of outset island. Once you find everything, take it into paint or something and circle where everything, and save it. But if you're too lazy to or can't download the image, then just try your best to describe where the things are... With any further ado, here is the image: Familiar, no? Final Day of the Treasure Hunt! You can send all your answers to me via PM. Today's Topic is... ANYTHING! Thank god, I can do whatever questions I want... 9) What was the screenname of the Light Sage Acolyte succeeded? (OLD CotS) 10) This board on Gamefaqs.com is more commonly nicknamed as Board "8". What is the actual name of the board. Well, that's it for the treasure hunt. I thank everyone who joined in. Most of the questions weren't too difficult, but could still provide a challenge for those who aren't too skilled in web surfing...
