The Night

 You know that old saying: "No rain, no rainbow."

We just got a torrential downpour that knocked out our power for about 40 minutes. Then an awesome rainbow shows up (which vanished as I type this):

 I own a above-par digital camera and used the highest quality to take those pics. I actually took 5 pictures of it with various light settings. Those were the two best.

And now a quote on rainbows that I came across when researching Water:

"Rainbows seem magical, in part because they don't actually exist in a particular place.
Where you see them and what they look like depends no only on weather conditions,
but also on the observer's location and the position of the sun. And they never last very long."

 Yeah, I take my pics big so I can use them in landscape design project illustrations if needed.
