This is, quite possibly, the best game Nintendo will have released since Metroid Prime, it seems. Yeah, I'm a fanboy, so suck it. This game is a collaboration with Team Ninja, and it seems like it will be Ninitendo's biggest upcoming game. Anyways, this is a prequel. Samus is now a hot young woman, like, actually. Also, her old CO, Adam, who was mentioned in Fusion, is around, more evidence that this is a prequel. Aside from stunning cinematics and informative backstory, the game will feature innovative gameplay that seems to draw from the Ninja Gaiden engine. It seems to have both 2D and 3D elements, and both 1st person and 3rd person combat. There is also a greater focus on acrobatics and close combat, and some awesome finishing moves and weaponry. I think it's a remake of the first Metroid, since it shows a lot of old enemies, like classic Zebesians and classic Ridley, and a creature that looks like Mother Brain can be seen as well. The presence of Adam also supports this. And, though this is purely speculation, I think that the lab coat chick at the end of the trailer might be Sylux. Who knows?

Samus seems a lot more agile in this one, throwing enemies around and forcefully flinging them to the ground to follow up with a blast, etc. Pretty sure I caught a glimpse of her tight, shiny suit, too! : D I also like the same for its originality. Corruption and Echoes? Come on.

DID SOMEONE SAY META GAME??? Posts: 381 Group: Members Member #40 Joined: Mar 7, 2009 Premium No	Yeah, she def. seems a lot more bounty hunterish in this one. I just hope that the controls are good, but they probably will be, seeing that if anyone gets Wii controls right, it's Nintendo.

I downsized them just for you ya know (There were originally as huge as an elephant!) As you can see, the screens currently out aren't the greatest but I'm pretty sure this game will be very well designed.

It probably does that only during boss fights, though. And the third person parts will probably be more akin to Fusion and Zero Mission, but I could be totally wrong on that.
