Rockband/Guitar Hero

Lunboks.

 Polish your firearms folks, it's time for another war.

So now, I'm sure everyone here has played one of these games at LEAST once. What is your favorite, and why?

...I'm gonna need to go with Rockband. I started out with Guitar Hero 3, and I enjoyed it very much. I played very often and got up to expert level in about 5 months. But when World Tour came out, that was one of the most disappointing games I have ever, ever played. It hardly felt like Guitar Hero, the career mode was very similar to Rockband, and there were only a handful of good songs.

Disappointed with the garbage that was WT, I begged my parents for Rockband 2 and sure enough, got the big bundle for Christmas. I just felt that almost everything about it was better than World Tour. I still play it everyday, since the drums are the funnest thing ever, and have inspired me to save up for a real set.

I gotta thank both though, they showed me a bigger selection of music to choose from, and now I have about 150 more songs on my iPod. =P

 My favorite is Rock Band because it involves more than one instrument. There is no other reason.

 Rockband.... I love to sing and it was the first game to really have it. Oh, and the guitars are wayyyy better. Guitar Hero copied Rockband with World Tour. Shame on them.

 Guitar Hero Metallica, because I like Metallica.

I'm picking a specific game instead of a series because there is no logical reason for me to favor one whole series over the other.

 I play real guitar, so I have no need for a simulation; therefore, I've never played either. It's not that I don't like them, I just have no desire to play them.
