Well, music belong here, I suppose. Ahem.

What's your favorite genre of music? Mine's easily classic rock, but I listen to most things. I don't like the majority of the music from this decade, and rap is a huge no.

And yourself?

Lunboks.

Prog Rock - Stuff like Dream Theater, BTBAM, Jethro Tull, Rush etc.
Rock/Hard Rock - Too many to list. I like Iron Maiden and A7X the best though.
Metal - Not really too big on it, but I do enjoy listening to bands like ATR.

Also whatever genre that Muse goes under...

I honestly don't pay much attention to genres, so I'm not even sure what to tell you. Whatever genres Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Rush, Nirvana, Bob Dylan, Nine Inch Nails, Metallica, Men At Work, Queen, David Bowie, Marilyn Manson, Iron Maiden, etc. are.

Balore, most of that falls under classic rock and heavy metal, another great genre. Very nice.

Waterfox, hell yeah Rush.

Videogame, I guess, could be a genre. It'd include all other genres, though. Unless you're talking 8-bit, maybe.

Pink Floyd is also very much psychedelic, so that probably contributes to my fondness for them. Also, just for the record, I tend to prefer slower, softer songs. Tend.

Baroque - late 1600s to early 1700s in Europe.
Late Renaissance - The era before Baroque.
Early-Mid Classical - The era after Baroque.

As for modern music...techno, electronic, rock, metal. Mostly stuff without words.

All the stuff that Cop said. However, I love stuff from the 1800's in Europe and Russia--I suppose it the Romanticism (most of it, at least). Well, I haven't actually listened to anything from the Late Renaissance, but yeahhhhhhh.....I really love Russian classical. SOME Neo-classical isn't bad, either.

I like J-Pop/Rock.

Other stuff too. I don't know, I don't like labeling things, it's annoying to me unless I categorize them; which I don't! : D

I listen to a ton of stuff. Hooked on Hip Hop (old school/underground stuff) Drum & Bass, Dubstep, and many forms of various electronic based music, including chiptunes.

Rock. That's a pretty big genre, so let me clarify. Real Rock. AC/DC, The Who, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Blue Oyster Cult, CCR, etc.
Metal. Again, Real Metal, none of that death metal or such. Def Leppard, Van Halen, Guns N Roses, Bon Jovi, etc.

I also enjoy Comedy Music (The Lonely Island, Weird Al Yankovic) and some alternative (Pretty much just Beck).

You just listed off a bunch of old stuff. What makes it "real"?
