Lunboks.

 Just to think, we've almost lasted 2 years. That's quite a long time for a small site like this. It's taken dedication but we're still around. Somehow. And our core group is still almost all together.

Also, SuperQ has come back just in time for the new year, which brings us to 1 missing Sage now.

So now that 2009 is here, my creative side is starting to come out again. Now that Zetaboards has been improved on and more addons are coming out for it... how about a brand new skin?

We'll keep the banner, smilies, PIPs etc. but just a new skin. Maybe something a little on the darker side.

Well, how bout it? Opinions? Suggestions? Rants?

Oh and one last thing I'd like to mention: We'll keep this skin. I realized that Zetaboards has a SKIN SELECTOR. So if you want to go back to this skin, your more than welcome to.

 A new skin's a fine idea; variety is good. As for suggestions, I have none.

It is great to have Q back, though.

 Good to hear. I did a little scouting before I went to bed last night and came up with these 2 skins: (Note that there still seems to be a shitty number of skins around, at least, barely any green)

I'm fond of this skin, it's a slightly lighter colour than what we have now. Sadly, the current banner is going to look slightly funny in that skin. Not to mention there is quite a bit of white. Your call.

This skin I also really like. But, like said above, current banner is going to look funny.

Seriously, I cannot find anything that could match us. I could try to find out how to put a border on this skin, but... I dunno how that could look.
Thoughts? Opinions? We could always stick with this skin.

 We should just experiment with multiple skins and see how positive the reception is. It's not like it could hurt since they don't have to be permanent.

 Woo... :/ And, to answer your first question, I think a new skin would be nice.

I don't really like either skin. The first looks like the default ZB skin, and the second it too white for me. If it were a darker green, maybe i'd be interested. :/

 Make sure you are looking at the "PRINT" skin on the first URL.

Also, I somewhat agree with you Q. The second skin would be better if it was a darker green.
So, I'll make a secondary banner for the second skin and add it to our skin selector so we can get some better feedback. If you REALLY don't like it, you can always go back to the original, which will still be on the chooser.

If it's alright I'll get this new skin on the chooser in a couple of days.

 Oh, ok. :P

I don't really like the first either; it's too similar to the second, although the second is better.

Maybe a darker skin, perhaps. I liked that "Black Water" skin. If there was any way we could turn the blue green, I would love to see it!

Oh, and I can't wait to see the new skin! ;)

 Well, the new skin was up and running quicker than I thought O_O

If you want to test it out, just go to the bottom of the page and select: CotS Skin 2 (Evergreen)
I made a quick new banner to go along with it, and I'll add some new buttons and such in the next few days.

Maybe if I'm bored one day... I'll try and make the green a little darker... ;)

Anyways, enjoy. And remember if you don't like the new one then the old one is still kicking around.

 Ah, this second skin is refreshing. Bright skins are better for forums. They make forums look less intimidating and such. I say we make Evergreen the default theme, and keep making improvements to it.

 Looks pretty good, but I don't think it matches the Zelda theme very well.

I plan to give it a little more Zelda feel over time. Right now, it's up cause it is.

And glad to see that you guys are enjoying it =P
